Romancing the Sphere
Some may find this unique table helpful in understanding spheres.
Beyond the purely mathematic, this fully symmetrical regime may also find application in physics, sociology, ontology and economics.
Note: Using the diametric mode for calculations (mentally or on paper) can be quicker than employing the formal (radial) convention, especially when working with hyper-dimensional domains, exponential growth scenarios, or when one is in need of an easier way to factor between domains of differing dimensionality.

Notes:
All versions since 2004 have reflected the much needed repair of the broken symmetry found in the 0-sphere definition under the prevailing n-sphere generalisation.
If you prefer the formal mode for transforms between exterior and interior space, simply use •r/d instead of •D/2d.

A Peace of Jerusalem: Revision Notice
The document A Peace of Jerusalem was revised on this date.
The document is the result of a collaboration undertaken between October 27, 2009, and August 7, 2010, involving approximately 300 people from different countries and regions of the world (including Israel, the West Bank, Canada, the US, the UK, France, Lebanon, Iran, Kenya, Germany, Jordan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Russia, Pakistan, Italy and others) each of whom contributed their own ideas, beliefs and opinions to the project.
On December 13, 2010, the print version of the document was published and subsequently distributed to the contributors who chose to provide their mailing information. A small correction to the preamble was made in the December print run and the on-line version was updated to reflect that change on January 2, 2011.

So Long, Kodachrome
Afghan Girl, 1984; Steve McCurry, National Geographic
After a run of 75 years, the last roll of Kodachrome film will be developed today at Dwayne’s Photo in Kansas — until now, the last remaining Kodachrome developer in the world.
Kodachrome brought us some of the most vibrant and stunning photography of the past three-quarters of a century, such as this award-winning photograph of a young Afghan girl snapped by National Geographic’s Steve McCurry in 1984.

Kodak discontinued production of the film last summer. Farewell, old friend.

Dear HR,
I enjoy adapting client-provided copy and I am
fully prepared to pad, slash, amplify, contour,
warp, finesse or mechanically debone any such
text which does disservice to the honour of said
client’s own brand. I intend to do this using the
most advanced methods known to modern
para-phraseology — all the while preserving
the original author’s ego and erstwhile intent.
Of course, I can also write original copy in
‘voices’ so inspired that actual angels have
been known to descend from on high and to
alight upon the shoulders of any whose eyes
or ears were fortunate enough to encounter
my words. And, obviously, in terms of voices,
I’ve got ‘megalomaniacal bastard’ down pat.
Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I should
confess that I often don’t actually laugh out loud
while typing LOL in response to an e-witticism.
I won’t deny it. It would have come out anyway;
if not during our correspondence, then certainly
at some point during my long and distinguished
career with your firm.
